Secondly, ‘transformation’ features, which are classified as ‘geometric’,<br />

‘topological’ and ‘boolean’, are given in detail in Table 3.2. It is important to state<br />

that here <strong>the</strong> ‘geometric transformation’ list is extended and ‘3D geometric<br />

transformations’ and ‘geometric deformations’ such as ‘bend’, ‘taper’ and ‘twist’, are<br />

integrated into this list.<br />

On <strong>the</strong> contrary to drawing <strong>analysis</strong>, in transformation features, 3D Studio Max<br />

which is qualified in 3D modeling, meets all <strong>the</strong> requirements and is <strong>the</strong> most<br />

inclusive s<strong>of</strong>tware compared to AutoCAD and ArchiCAD. Moreover, <strong>the</strong> main<br />

classifications <strong>of</strong> terms mentioned in ‘transformation’ features are given in <strong>the</strong><br />

analyses <strong>of</strong> CAAD operation part. However, in order to see <strong>the</strong> detailed definitions <strong>of</strong><br />

all <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>se terms, one can refer to ‘List <strong>of</strong> Terms’ at <strong>the</strong> end <strong>of</strong> this <strong>the</strong>sis.
