It is <strong>critical</strong> to emphasize that, although Photoshop is not stated in <strong>the</strong> questionnaire,<br />
as it belongs a 2D image processing s<strong>of</strong>tware family, it is revealed that a<br />
considerable amount <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> students use Photoshop in <strong>the</strong>ir design process after<br />
modeling and rendering <strong>the</strong>ir project (Figure 3.8). This emphasizes to <strong>the</strong> assumption<br />
that <strong>the</strong> s<strong>of</strong>tware <strong>the</strong>y use may not meet all <strong>the</strong>ir requirements and <strong>the</strong>y could not<br />
reach <strong>the</strong> desired image <strong>the</strong>y anticipate. Thus, this is an important input for <strong>the</strong><br />
proposed model.<br />

Next, <strong>the</strong> s<strong>of</strong>tware packages utilized in different <strong>interior</strong> architectural design phases<br />
are examined throughout this questionnaire. This examination is basically performed<br />
to ga<strong>the</strong>r data to see if <strong>the</strong> s<strong>of</strong>tware packages employed in each phase are different or<br />
not, and to select <strong>the</strong> most successful s<strong>of</strong>tware in each phase. The findings are<br />
comprehensive and may also used for future work.<br />
