are chosen for <strong>the</strong>ir different purposes <strong>of</strong> use in <strong>interior</strong> architecture; such as kitchen,<br />
bathroom and ceramics design. In <strong>the</strong> second part, analyses <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> user preferences<br />
are examined. These analyses include questionnaires with <strong>the</strong> students and interviews<br />
with <strong>the</strong> pr<strong>of</strong>essionals. The assumptions over students and pr<strong>of</strong>essionals, sample<br />
groups and contents, and <strong>the</strong> findings <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> questionnaires and interviews are also<br />
given.<br />
The fourth chapter <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>the</strong>sis, entitled “Proposed Model”, covers <strong>the</strong> features and<br />
quality attributes <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> proposed model. In this chapter, based on <strong>the</strong> previous<br />
analyses and findings, an extensive model is developed and introduced. The<br />
presentation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> model is followed by discussions, where a self-assessment about<br />
<strong>the</strong> proposed model is made.<br />
The final and conclusive chapter <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>the</strong>sis highlights <strong>the</strong> important points <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
<strong>analysis</strong>, <strong>the</strong> ga<strong>the</strong>red data and <strong>the</strong> proposed model. The contribution <strong>of</strong> this study to<br />
literature and suggestions for fur<strong>the</strong>r work are mentioned here. This chapter is<br />
followed by a list <strong>of</strong> references and appendices. The appendices include <strong>the</strong><br />
questionnaire and interviews, and present <strong>the</strong> information about <strong>the</strong> general purpose<br />
and domain specific s<strong>of</strong>tware packages used in <strong>interior</strong> architectural education and<br />
practice.<br />
