The following sections describe settings for the <strong>Sonic</strong> Database Service DB2 driver:<br />

DB2 Driver Connection Properties<br />

Table 8 describes the JDBC connection properties supported by the DB2 driver. The<br />

properties have the format:<br />

property=value<br />

Note All connection property names are case-insensitive. For example, Password is the same<br />

as password.<br />

A string that is appended to the end of all CREATE statements. This property<br />

typically is used to add an in database clause.<br />

DB2<br />

The default schema name that is used to qualify unqualified database<br />

objects in dynamically prepared database queries. Valid values depend on<br />

your DB2 database:<br />

● DB2 UDB <strong>and</strong> DB2 iSeries — Sets the value in the DB2 CURRENT<br />

SCHEMA special register. The value of this property must be a valid<br />

DB2 schema name. DB2 UDB <strong>and</strong> DB2 iSeries do not validate values<br />

specified for the CURRENT SCHEMA register.<br />

● DB2 OS/390 — Sets the value in the DB2 CURRENT SQLID special<br />

register. The value of this property is validated by the server. Refer to<br />

your IBM documentation for valid values for the CURRENT SQLID<br />

register.
