3. Optionally, in the Date section, enter a date <strong>and</strong> time in either or both the Started After<br />

<strong>and</strong> Terminated Before fields.<br />

When the Date is specified, a search returns processes as follows for different Search<br />

Filter selections:<br />

Search Filter Processes Returned by Search<br />

All Instances The Started After <strong>and</strong> Terminated Before fields are disabled when<br />

All Instances is selected.<br />

Live Instances Returns processes that started between the times specified in the<br />

fields Started After <strong>and</strong> Terminated Before.<br />

Terminated Only Returns processes that terminated between the times specified in<br />

the fields Started After <strong>and</strong> Terminated Before.<br />

4. Optionally, in the Messages section, click Add to specify the following search criteria<br />

in the table:<br />

■ Destination — Select Any, Inbound, or Outbound (Required)<br />

■ Message Namespace<br />

■ Message Local Name<br />

■ Part<br />

■ Search Value<br />

Note If you specify an asterisk (*) as the value for any of the criteria, that value is ignored.<br />

5. Optionally, in the Boolean XPath Expressions section, click Add to specify the<br />

comparison of a BPEL variable. The following expressions allow access to variables<br />

<strong>and</strong> their properties:<br />

Variable Description<br />

$variableName The value of the variable.<br />

bpws:getVariableProperty(‘name’,‘property’) The value of the property with respect<br />

to the variable identified.<br />

Note The properties must be specified as namespace qualified identities. The<br />

namespace prefixes available are those defined in the BPEL process (see the<br />

<strong>Progress</strong> <strong>Sonic</strong> BPEL Server Developer’s <strong>Guide</strong> in the <strong>Sonic</strong> Workbench<br />

(Eclipse) help for information about defining namespaces in a BPEL process).<br />
