Overview of BPEL Service Initialization Parameters The Service Maintenance parameters are configured as for any ESB service: ● Service Name ● Entry Endpoint ● Exit Endpoints ● Fault Endpoint ● Rejected Message Endpoint ● WSDL URL The WSDL URL is exposed when BPEL processes are used directly by other services on the ESB. Each BPEL process has a separate WSDL, which is configured in the development environment in Sonic Workbench. For information about configuring these parameters, see the Progress Sonic BPEL Server Developer’s Guide in the Sonic Workbench (Eclipse) help. Chapter 9: Configuring BPEL Services BPEL services have the following Initialization Parameters: Initialization Parameter Description BPEL Archive The URL of a BPEL archive file (*.bpar) located in the Sonic file system. Required. See “Specifying a BPEL Archive (.bpar)” on page 238 Staging Directory Enter a local file system directory where the BPAR can be unpacked. The default value is a directory named bpel_staging, relative to the working directory of the ESB container in which the service is deployed (./bpel_staging). Required. Note: The BPEL service may delete files in this directory on service startup. Persistence Select a value to define how the service is to persist (if at all) its state. The default value is Embedded Storage. Required. See “Setting Persistence Options” on page 239. Enable Audit Trail Recording Select whether audit trails are captured for process instances. The default value is True. Required. See “Audit Trails and Persistence” on page 244. Default Partner Link Specify the default process and partner link to use. Optional. See “Setting a Default Partner Link” on page 245. HTTP Callback URL The address used as the Reply To address when using WSA headers in asynchronous invocations.
