Chapter 2: <strong>ESB</strong> Containers<br />

Defining Services<br />

While st<strong>and</strong>ard services are provided for <strong>ESB</strong>, you need to define what you want to<br />

deploy in <strong>ESB</strong> Containers. The following procedure shows how to define a service.<br />

◆ To define a st<strong>and</strong>ard service:<br />

1. In the left panel in the <strong>Sonic</strong> <strong>Management</strong> Console, under the <strong>ESB</strong> Configured<br />

Objects node, exp<strong>and</strong> the Services folder <strong>and</strong> select a service. The right panel<br />

displays instances of the selected service if any are already defined.<br />

2. Choose a service. For example, select Content-Based Routing.<br />

3. On the right panel, click New.<br />

4. For now, just enter the Service Name myCBR, <strong>and</strong> then click Apply.<br />

The service definition is listed as shown:<br />
