To that end, the Cham ber pointed out that in any trial where the pat ri mo nial re spon si bil ity of the State is judged on the ba sis of se ri ous vi - o la tions of hu man rights it is pos si ble to or der mea sures for com pre hen - sive rep a ra tion, i.e., pe cu ni ary and non-pe cu ni ary mea sures, iden ti cal or sim i lar to those set forth by in ter na tional jus tice, inter alia, restitutio in integrum, the in dem nity for pe cu ni ary and non-pe cu ni ary dam ages, re ha - bil i ta tion, sat is fac tion and non-rep e ti tion guar an tees. The Cham ber pointed out that in each spe cific case, na tional judges must check their pow ers and au thor ity to achieve com pen sa tion of dam ages ei ther through in dem nity mea sures or, in case it is fac tu ally pos si ble, through the adop - tion of other mea sures or pro vi sions of a dif fer ent na ture, as pointed out above. In the pres ent sen tence, the Cham ber made ref er ence to var i ous pro vi - sions in the Amer i can Con ven tion on Hu man Rights and the Inter-Amer i - can Con ven tion on Forced Dis ap pear ance of Per sons, among other doc u - ments. Like wise, the Cham ber was based on the ju ris pru dence of the Inter-Amer i can Court of Hu man Rights in the cases of Velásquez Rodríguez v. Hon du ras; Valle Jaramillo et al. v. Co lom bia; Heliodoro Por tu gal v. Panamá; Bámaca Velásquez v. Gua te mala; Mas sa cre of Pueblo Bello v. Co lom bia; Aloeboetoe et al. v. Su ri nam; and Las Palmeras v. Co lom bia.
