YES PREP STUDENT HANDBOOK 2012-2013 Whatever It Takes! The YES Prep Public Schools Student Handbook may be available online at www.yesprep.org under each specific campus’s link. All YES Prep students and families are expected to carefully review the policies and procedures in the YES Prep Public Schools Student Handbook. Hard copies of the student handbook and Spanish translations will be distributed to each family. Throughout the year, the handbook may be adjusted to meet the needs of students, parents, staff, and the school. Agreement with this handbook also means agreement with the possibility for handbook addenda. If an addendum does occur, we will notify parents and students through parent notes and through our web site. We will also post these addenda online for easy access. By signing the handbook agreement page, you are acknowledging that the handbook may change at times. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We have read the YES Prep Public Schools Student Handbook, and we accept the policies and procedures contained within it. We have also read and understand the YES Prep Public Schools Honor Code and acknowledge its importance to the academic life at YES Prep Public Schools. We, the YES Prep Public Schools student and parent/guardian, understand that a failure to follow the expected policies and procedures may result in disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion. By signing this, I also grant permission for my student to attend school-sponsored field trips throughout the year. Additionally, I give permission for my student to be driven by a school employee whether on a field trip or to and from school activities or to and from school. Before a school employee drives a student, the school employee will either get permission from you (the parent) or a member of the campus administrative team or Senior Leadership Team. I also give permission for my child’s image, photo, or words to be published to others.
