An American, formerly resident at
Ithaca, N.Y., lives on Formentera
since 1975 where she met François
Mennes. They have two grown
sons.
Painting in oils and in watercolours
more than 20 years with many exhibitions
on the islands.
"For me painting, with its coordination
of hand and eye, are enjoyable.
And the materials, oil paint and/ or
watercolor, on canvas or on paper,
are enduring and endearing.”
Una americana de Ithaca, N.Y., que
vive en Formentera desde 1975.
Aquí conoce François Mennes con
quien tiene dos hijos, ya mayores.
Pinta óleos y acuarelas hace más de
20 años y ha expuesto muchas veces
en las Pitiusas.

Tuve la gran suerte de conocer Ibiza
en los años 60. Vivo aquí desde
el 71.
Hasta hace poco diseñé serigrafías
para tejidos. Ahora que respondo a
nuevos retos me gusta dar rienda
suelta a mis memorias y me concentro
en pintar el paisaje, la luz y
la gente.

Luckily I knew Ibiza in the 60’s and
moved here in the 70’s.
Until recently I designed silk-screen
on textile. Now, while aroused by
new challanges, I continue to indulge
in painting the landscapes,
the light, and the people and my
memories of Ibiza.
