I was born in England in 1976, but
brought up in Ibiza, where I have
spent most of my life.
I paint as a way of discovering the
unknown to me. I don´t search for
beauty, I search for messages that
come from the subconscious. I
never know what I will paint, I just
follow the shapes and find relationships
between the elements. Painting
is like dreaming at night, where
lots of images overlap shifting their
meanings.
Nací en Inglaterra en 1976, pero me
crié en Ibiza, donde he pasado la
mayor parte de mi vida.
Pinto como manera de descubrir lo
desconocido para mi. No busco la
belleza estética; más bien busco los
mensajes que a través de la pintura
afloran del subconsciente. Nunca
sé lo que voy a pintar, sólo sigo
las formas que surgen y encuentro
relación entre los elementos. Pintar
para mí es como soñar de noche,
cuando muchas imágenes se solapan
alterando su significado corriente.

Trato de plasmar en mi obra los placeres
de la vida: diversión, belleza y
serenidad con un acercamiento surrealista,
sobre todo con óleos pero
también con técnica mixta.
My idea is to express all feelings of
well being in life, namely pleasure,
beauty, peace of mind through a
surrealistic approach, yet open to
any form of technique. Most of the
work is done with oil, sometimes
mixed with acrylics and others.
