La dirección de unespectáculo que representara el folclore coreográficovasco recayó en Juan Antonio Urbeltz. Así nacióZortziko, un espectáculo de danza vasca de gran envergaduraque reunió a 200 bailarines y músicos bajola dirección de Argia.Dantzaris de varios grupos parciparon en espectáculoZortziko, pero el sello de Argia se adivinaba enel carácter que imprimian a la interpretación coreográfica,en la elegancia en el vestuario, en el brillomusical y en la capacidad para conjugar tradición ycreación. Tras estrenarse en Confolens, Zortziko serepresentó durante tres años en teatros y frontonesdel País Vasco, y en 1991 dejó paso a su secuela quese denominó Alakiketan. He sent his proposal to the associaonof dancers in Iparralde (the Northern BasqueCountry) and they put Juan Antonio Urbeltz incharge of the main show.
