Je désire, je voyage, je m’absente, je m’en vais,
je frappe, j’extermine, je compte les points,
je triomphe, je grisonne, je me dépouille, je me repens,
Je palabre, je louange, je donne, je pardonne,
je joue, je gagne et bois mon vin,
J’implore, j’explique, j’enfourche, je m’indigne et je louange…

Tu achètes et tu revends,
ta langue tourne comme une roue dans ta bouche,
la source de l’éloquence coule à flots,
ton art est ouvert à tous vents,
il déploie ses ruses pour édifier les créatures.
