ICCAT <strong>REPORT</strong> <strong>2010</strong>-20<strong>11</strong> (I)62. Fishing vessels shall only tranship bluefin tunacatches in designated ports of CPCs. To this end, eachCPC shall designate ports in which transhipping ofbluefin tuna is authorized and communicate a list ofthese ports to the ICCAT Secretariat by 1 March eachyear.64. The masters of catching vessels shall keep a boundor electronic logbook of their operations, indicatingparticularly the quantities of bluefin tuna caught andkept on board, whether the catches are weighed orestimated, the date and location of such catches and thetype of gear used in accordance with the requirementsset out in Annex 2.66. Fishing vessels shall only land bluefin tuna catchesin designated ports of CPCs. To this end, each CPC shalldesignate ports in which landing of bluefin tuna isauthorized and communicate a list of these ports to theICCAT Secretariat by 1 March each year. For a port tobe determined as designated port, the port State shallspecify permitted landing times and places. The portState shall ensure full inspection coverage during alllanding times and at all landing places. On the basis ofthis in<strong>for</strong>mation the ICCAT Secretariat shall maintain alist of designated ports on the ICCAT website.67. Prior to entry into any port, the fishing vessels ortheir representative, shall provide the relevant authoritiesof the port, at least 4 hours be<strong>for</strong>e the estimated time ofarrival, with the following:a) estimated time of arrival,b) estimate of quantity of bluefin tuna retained on board,c) the in<strong>for</strong>mation on the geographic area where thecatch was taken;Port State authorities shall keep a record of all priornotices <strong>for</strong> the current year.Each landing or caging shall be subject to an inspectionby the relevant authorities of the port.The relevant authority shall send a record of the landingto the flag State authority of the fishing vessel, within 48hours after the landing has ended. In <strong>2010</strong> Croatia equipped all bluefin tuna PSfleet with electronic logbooks and received the in<strong>for</strong>mationelectronically. In this fishing season both obligations applied<strong>for</strong> Croatian vessels, including paper and electronic reports.Implemented. Croatia defined the ports where landings ofbluefin tuna are allowed and has in<strong>for</strong>med the Secretariat.Landings of bluefin tuna in <strong>2010</strong> were made in designatedports. No landings from vessels flying other flags were madein <strong>2010</strong>. No imports of live bluefin tuna were made in <strong>2010</strong>.
