Quand y aller? / When to go?
Morondava : La saison humide va du mois de
novembre au mois d’avril et la saison sèche de mai à
octobre. C’est la meilleure période pour y séjourner.
Fort-Dauphin : La température moyenne est de
24°C. Le climat est donc favorable toute l’année,
même s’il pleut davantage en février et mars.
Morondava: The wet season runs from
November to April and the dry season from May
to October – the best time to stay there. Fort
Dauphin: The average temperature is 24 ° C. The
climate is favourable throughout the year, expect
more rain during February and March.
Comment s’y rendre? / How to get there?
Morondava : Si vous choisissez la voie terrestre,
prendre la route reliant Tana et la capitale du Menabe
(RN7- RN34- RN35). Des vols réguliers assurent
également la liaison entre Tana et Morondava, Tuléar
et Morondava ou encore Fort-dauphin et Morondava.
Fort-Dauphin : La voie aérienne est conseillée pour
se rendre à Fort-Dauphin, avec un départ depuis
la capitale : 1h45 de vol. Sinon, pour parcourir les
1100km de route avec des pistes peu praticables,
il vous faudra 3 à 4 jours au minimum depuis
Antananarivo (RN7 puis RN13). Un trajet forcément
davantage porté sur l’aventure et la découverte !
Morondava: If you choose the land route, take the
road connecting Tana and the capital of Menabe
(RN- RN3- RN35). Regular flights also provide
the link between Tana and Morondava, Tulear and
Morondava or Fort Dauphin and Morondava.
Fort-Dauphin: Better go to Fort Dauphin by plane, a
1h45 flight from the capital. Otherwise, to travel the
1100km on decent roads, you will need at least 3 to 4
days from Antananarivo (RN7 then RN13). Such a trip
is necessarily more focused on adventure and
discovery!
Où se loger? / Where to stay?
Morondava : L’hôtel « Palissandre Côte Ouest »
est conseillé. Infrastructures, accueil, sécurité,
personnel… Tout y est parfait ! Fort-Dauphin : Vous
pouvez loger au centre de Fort Dauphin à « La Croix
du Sud » où l’accueil est chaleureux. C’est un endroit
au calme à quelques mètres de la mer. Ou encore à
l’hôtel « Talinjoo » ou à l’hôtel « Le Port Hôtel ».
Morondava: The hotel "Rosewood West Coast" is
recommended. Infrastructures, reception, security,
staff ... Everything is perfect! Fort Dauphin: You can
stay in the centre of Fort Dauphin at "La Croix du
Sud" with its welcoming atmoshere. It is also a quiet
place, just a few meters from the sea. Alternatively
check-in the hotels "Talinjoo" or "The Port Hotel".
Où manger? / Where to eat?
Morondava : Après une escapade nature, essayez
« La Capannina », « Chez Alain » ou « Blue soleil ».
Fort-Dauphin : « Chez Georges », « Le Filao », « Le
Dauphin » et « Chez Mirana », sont les restaurants
les plus conseillés et les plus fréquentés dans la
capitale de l’Anosy.
Morondava: After a nature getaway, try "La
Capannina", "Chez Alain" or "Blue Soleil"
Fort-Dauphin: "Chez Georges", "Le Filao", "Le
Dauphin" and "Chez Mirana" are the most
recommended and most popular restaurants in
the capital of Anosy.
Que voir? / What to see?
Morondava : Au site de Kivalo, à Marofandilia, vous
pouvez visiter le camp Amoureux, un endroit loin de
la civilisation et de ses bruits. Fort-Dauphin : Pour les
souvenirs (produits artisanaux), allez à la boutique
"Au Bout du Monde" (à côté la Mairie sur l'avenue du
Maréchal Foch), ou chez « Boutic'Arts Malagasy », en
face de l'annexe du Miramar. La plage la plus populaire
et l’une des plus belles, est celle de Libanona.
Morondava: At the site of Kivalo, in Marofandilia,
you can visit the Amoureux camp, a place far away
from the civilisation and all noise. Fort Dauphin: For
souvenirs (handicrafts), go to the shop "At the End of
the World" (next to the Town Hall on the Avenue du
Maréchal Foch), or to "Boutic'Arts Malagasy", in front
of the Miramar annex. The most popular beach, and
at the same time one of the most beautiful, is that of
Libanona.
