Ambondromifehy est doté d’un climat tropical.

The climate at Ambondromifehy is tropical. The
weather is warm and pleasant from October to April.
Comment s’y rendre? / How to get there?
Pour rejoindre Ambondromifehy, prenez un vol
pour Diégo depuis Antananarivo. Le village
se trouve à quelques kilomètres de l’aéroport.
Si vous prenez la route, Ambondromifehy se
trouve après Ambilobe. Par contre, la carrière de
Kepakepa est difficile d’accès. C’est un endroit
idéal pour les aventuriers. Elle n’est accessible
qu’à pieds, par les rizières, après une traversée
des rivières. On croisera alors des hautes
savanes et des forêts avant de rejoindre la mine
aux saphirs.
To reach Ambondromifehy, take a flight to Diégo
from Antananarivo. The village is only a few
kilometers from the airport. If you take the road
from the capital, Ambondromifehy is reached
after passing Ambilobe. The mining area at
Kepakepa is a great place for adventurers. It is
accessible only by feet, walking through the rice
fields and having to cross a river. Still we need
to pass high savannas and forests before finally
arriving at the sapphire mine.

découvrir la cuisine locale mais également
européenne.

A Ambilobe, vous pourrez visiter des lieux
surprenants comme la cascade Dadilahy, le
palais royal, le massif de l’Ankarana, les potiers
de Sengaloka, les brodeuses de Manongarivo
et les plantations de canne à sucre qui font la
renommée de cette localité de Madagascar.
Participez à des cérémonies traditionnelles de
la royauté Antakarana comme le fisehagna et
le tsangatsaina. Du côté de Diégo, les tsingy
rouges, le parc national de l’Ankarana, la
montagne d’Ambre et la mer d’émeraude sont les
endroits incontournables.
Around Ambilobe you can visit the Dadilahy
waterfall, the royal palace, the Ankarana massif,
the Sengaloka potters, the embroiderers of
Manongarivo and the sugarcane plantations
that made this place of Madagascar famous.
Participate in traditional ceremonies of
Antakarana such as fisehagna and tsangatsaina.
On the side of Diégo, the red tsingy, the Ankarana
National Park, the Amber Mountain and the
Emerald Sea are interesting places too.
