dallʼazienda nel corso dellʼanno è stato
il Tecnargilla 2010.
In questa edizione, caratterizzata
da un grandissimo afflusso di visitatori
stranieri, ma da un calo di quelli italiani,
SACMI ha ancora una volta
rappresentato un centro di interesse
mondiale, dimostrando di credere
fortemente nel business ceramico
in tutti i suoi aspetti, dando un segnale
di fiducia e di continuità a tutti
i suoi clienti.
La Fiera, che aveva come tema
il rispetto dellʼambiente e del risparmio
energetico, confermato dallʼinsolito
colore verde degli allestimenti al posto
dello storico rosso Sacmi, ha brillato
ancora una volta per la molteplicità
delle innovazioni presentate nel settore
piastrelle, sanitari e laterizi, sempre unite
a soluzioni integrate per il risparmio
di combustibile e di energia elettrica.
Proprio in questʼottica deve essere
inquadrato il nuovo forno a rulli EKO,
che vede in un nuovo sistema di gestione
del forno e nei bruciatori innovativi con
scambiatori incorporati per il preriscaldo
dellʼaria di combustione, la possibilità
di ridurre i consumi oltre il 25% rispetto
alle soluzioni convenzionali.

This edition, characterised by a huge
influx of foreign visitors (but also a drop
in the number of Italians), once again
saw Sacmi as the focus of worldwide
interest, providing it with an opportunity
to demonstrate its enormous faith in all
aspects of ceramic and so send a clear
signal of confidence and continuity
to customers.
The fair, which focussed on
environmental friendliness and energy
savings - as highlighted by the unusual
green colour scheme on the stand
instead of the traditional Sacmi red –
proved to be a huge success thanks
to the great number of innovations
on display for the tile, sanitaryware
and heavy clay sectors, all combined
with integrated fuel and electricity saving
solutions.
The latest EKO kiln offers a perfect
example of this energy saving approach:
it features a new kiln control system
and innovative burners with incorporated
heat exchangers for pre-heating of the
combustion air, reducing consumption
by over 25% with respect to more
conventional solutions.

PIASTRELLE
Un evento eccezionale che ha
caratterizzato il business piastrelle
e che forse rimarrà unico nella storia
di SACMI è costituito dalla firma
di un accordo con la Holding turca
Yildizlar (proprietaria di Sogut Ceramic)
per un valore di 120 milioni di euro,
investimento che proietterà
questʼazienda al primo posto nel rating
mondiale come produttore di piastrelle
ceramiche.
Il nuovo stabilimento, che occupa una
superficie coperta di quasi un chilometro
quadrato, ospiterà una molteplicità
di macchine Sacmi, che hanno garantito
il raggiungimento del budget 2010
ed altresì una elevata percentuale
TILES
In what was an exceptional event for
the tile business - and one unlikely ever
to be repeated in Sacmi – a 120 million
Euro agreement was made with Turkish
holding company Yildizlar (owner
of Sogut Ceramic), an investment
so large that it will take this company
to the top of the worldʼs ceramic tile
producer rankings.
Occupying almost a whole square
kilometre, this new plant will host an
extensive array of Sacmi machines, thus
ensuring achievement of the 2010
budget targets and also helping fill the
order books in 2011, allowing production
departments to achieve saturation
at a time of acute market uncertainty.
