Relativamente alla soffiatrice SBF
è continuata lʼattività di sviluppo
sul prototipo SBF614 che è stato
installato nei primi mesi dellʼanno presso
un imbottigliatore italiano e sono state
prodotte e vendute le prime macchine
di serie con 6 ed 8 stampi.
Queste attività sul campo ci hanno
consentito di migliorare la macchina,
trovando negli ultimi mesi dellʼanno
una buona affidabilità di processo.
È proseguita anche l'attività di vendita
degli impianti di produzione preforme
per iniezione con tecnologia CHP
di derivazione Oima.
Nel corso del 2010 è iniziata
la progettazione della nuova pressa
per preforme Sacmi IPS, il cui prototipo
con stampo a 48 cavità sarà montato
e testato verso la metà del 2011.
È continuata anche lʼattività di sviluppo
del laboratorio nel settore preforme
e bottiglie, per proporre alla clientela
soluzioni competitive in termini di peso
dei contenitori e quindi di riduzione
dei costi.
Il fatturato effettivo della divisione
CLOSURES & CONTAINERS
ha superato i 171 milioni di euro
con una crescita rispetto allʼanno
precedente di poco inferiore al 12% a
dispetto di una economia mondiale che
non è ancora tornata ai livelli pre-crisi.
La Cina continua ad essere di gran
lunga il principale mercato, come
accade ormai da parecchi anni.
Alle sue spalle è folta la presenza
di paesi del sud-est asiatico (Tailandia,
Indonesia ed il nuovo colosso India)
e dellʼAmerica Latina (su tutti il Brasile,
ma anche il Messico, lʼEcuador,
la Colombia, ecc.).
Gli USA sembrano ancora lontani
dal recuperare i volumi che li hanno
contraddistinti fino al 2008.

These in-the-field activities have allowed

The sale of injection moulding pre-form
production plants with Oima-derived
CHP technology also continued.
Design work began on the new Sacmi
IPS pre-form press, the prototype
of which, with a 48-cavity mould, will be
installed and tested towards mid-2011.
In order to offer customers competitive
solutions in terms of container weight
and, therefore, cost reduction,
the research laboratory continued its
development work in the pre-forms
and bottles sector throughout the year.
Despite a world economy that has yet
to return to pre-recession levels,
sales posted by the CLOSURES &
CONTAINERS division exceeded
171 million Euros, an increase on
the previous year of just under 12%.
As has been the case for some years,
China continued to be by far the largest
market. Behind it lie a cluster of
South-East Asian countries (Thailand,
Indonesia and the new colossus, India)
and Latin American nations (above
all Brazil, but also Mexico, Ecuador,
Colombia etc.).
In the USA markets still have a long way
to go before they return to the high
performance volumes seen until 2008;
nevertheless, the fact remains that
our machines are sold worldwide
and are currently used in over 60 nations
on five continents.
The year 2010 also saw the delivery
of the 1000th compression machine
to one of our most important Taiwanese
customers (THC).
