una nuova versione della V-pack,
denominata Y, che consente flessibilità
dʼincarto a velocità fino a 800 pezzi/min,
superiori a quelle finora ottenute sulla
V-pack2.
Il prototipo di questa incartatrice
sarà consegnato ad un cliente tedesco
nel prossimo luglio.
SISTEMI DI ISPEZIONE
Il 2010 è stato un anno molto positivo
per i Sistemi di Visione che, nonostante
la disomogenea ripresa osservata nei
vari mercati nazionali, hanno comunque
incrementato globalmente del 25%
i volumi di vendita.
Da sottolineare anche questʼanno
gli eccellenti risultati ottenuti in Cina
nellʼispezione tappo in plastica, anche se
il più grosso contratto dellʼanno è stata
la vendita ad un cliente cinese di 12
macchine per ispezionare tappi a corona.
Oltre alla Cina, si rilevano crescite
importanti di volumi anche nel Sud-est
asiatico e nellʼEstremo Oriente.
Buoni i risultati nel continente americano,
dove cresce la quota di mercato
di SACMI: soprattutto nei tappi in plastica
in USA e nelle chiusure in metallo
in Messico, i nostri due principali mercati.
Stazionari i dati di vendita in Europa
e Medio Oriente.
Dal punto di vista delle linee di prodotto
sono stati ottenuti ottimi risultati dai CVS
e dai CHS per tappo in plastica, prodotti
sia per compressione che per iniezione.
Non ancora allʼaltezza delle aspettative
le vendite dei PVS-2, la macchina per
lʼispezione a campione delle preforme.
Il mercato non appare ancora maturo e
ricettivo come quello delle chiusure ma,
proprio per questo motivo, ci aspettiamo
crescite significative nei prossimi anni.
In attesa di una vera ripresa del settore,
nelle applicazioni Beverage sono stati
ottenuti buoni risultati dagli LVS:
i sistemi per lʼispezione dellʼetichetta
e per lʼorientamento delle bottiglie
a bordo delle macchine etichettatrici.

INSPECTION SYSTEMS
While recovery on the various national
markets was far from even, 2010 was
a very positive year for Vision Systems,
with sales volumes increasing by 25%.
Excellent plastic cap inspection results
were also achieved in China, although
the largest contract of the year was
the sale of 12 crown cap inspection
machines to a Chinese customer.
Beyond China significant increases
in sales volumes were also recorded
South East Asia and the Far East.
Results also proved to be positive on
the American market, where SACMIʼs
market share is growing, especially
as regards US plastic caps and Mexican
metal closures, our two main markets.
Sales in Europe and the Middle East,
however, remain stationary.
A look at things from a product line
viewpoint highlights the excellent results
achieved by the plastic cap CVS
and CHS lines, produced for both
compression and injection.
Sales of the PVS-2, the pre-form
sample-type inspection machine have
yet to reach anticipated levels.
The market is not yet as mature or
receptive as the closures one yet it is for
this very reason that we expect to see
significant growth over the coming years.
With a true recovery yet to get under way
in the industry, good results in Beverage
applications were obtained by the LVS
label inspection and bottle positioning
systems installed on labelling machines.
The SACMI-dominated crown cap niche
aside, the metal market (tinplate or
aluminium closures and containers)
is struggling, with both volumes and
margins in decline.
