allʼAzienda, di congiuntura economica,
come tale subita dallʼindustria
metalmeccanica nel suo complesso.
Si è fiduciosi, tuttavia, che il lavoro
svolto abbia posto le basi per consentire
a Carle & Montanari di essere pronta
a cogliere i frutti dellʼuscita dalla suddetta
crisi economica.
Il 2010 è stato per la Divisione
Carle & Montanari Packaging un anno
positivo, in cui, grazie ad un incremento
della marginalità, sono stati ottenuti,
con un fatturato più basso, utili di poco
inferiori rispetto a quelli del 2008.
Nel 2010 si è assistito ad un fermento
di ripresa particolarmente significativo
in Brasile, grazie alla ripresa degli
investimenti delle multinazionali come
Kraft e Nestlè, mentre purtroppo
segnano ancora il passo gli USA,
mercato storicamente importantissimo
per la Divisione, dove permane una
situazione più critica.
Va sottolineato inoltre un rinnovato
interesse per le incartatrici da caramelle
che ha dato buoni esiti nelle vendite
in Italia e in Turchia.
In generale i segnali del mercato
spingono ad un cauto ottimismo con
importanti progetti che si stanno
concretizzando anche per il 2011,
particolarmente nelle aree ex-sovietiche.
Dal punto di vista dello sviluppo del
prodotto, il 2011 porta lʼappuntamento
fieristico più importante, lʼInterpack
di Dusseldorf in cui verrà presentata
la nuova incartatrice da tavolette
T-pack2, già in anteprima a Chicago
nel novembre scorso.
La macchina verrà presentata nella
duplice versione con cartoncino piegato
o astuccio per contenere lʼincarto interno
di alluminio saldato ermeticamente
su tre lati.
Si tratta di una macchina totalmente
elettronica che ambisce a soddisfare
sia le esigenze produttive che quelle
di manutenibilità e pulizia.
Nel frattempo è stata realizzata

For the Carle & Montanari Packaging
Division 2010 was a positive year, one
in which, thanks to widening margins,
profits only slightly below those seen
in 2008 were achieved but this time with
fewer sales.
Indeed, 2010 saw a flurry of recovery,
particularly so in Brazil, largely because
of heightened investment by
multinationals such as Kraft and Nestlè.
However, in the USA, a market that has
historically been essential to the Division,
the situation is stagnant and more critical.
Renewed interest in sweet (candy)
wrapping machines has generated good
sales results in Italy and Turkey.
Generally speaking, the market is
showing signs of cautious optimism,
with important projects planned
for implementation in 2011, especially
in the former Soviet nations.
From a product development viewpoint,
2011 brings with it the most important
trade fair, the Dusseldorf-held Interpack
in which the new T-pack2 chocolate bar
wrapping machine – already previewed
at Chicago last November - will be
presented in a dual version with a folded
card or carton containing an inner
aluminium wrap, hermetically sealed
on three sides.
This is a fully electronic machine that
aims to meet both production needs and
maintenance/cleaning requirements.
In the meantime a new version of the
V-pack has been developed: known
as the Y, it provides wrapping flexibility
at rates of up to 800 pieces/min, greater
