971C Brake pads / Pastiglie freno 971C
OMP 971C range of brake pads is made from an asbestos
free friction material with the following characteristics:
Composition: thermosetting resins with special carbon
materials.
Friction coefficient: very high (0.48).
Friction stability: uniform throughout a wide temperature
range (100° to 800° C - see graph).
Wear resistance: very high due to our specially formulated
compound.
Mechanical resistance: very high also thanks to the special
structure formed by the substances present in the compound.
Top level performances: in professional use (Rally, Group
N).
The OMP 971C compound brake pads have a coeffecient of friction 30%
higher than the Road&Sport (tuning) compound. This compound is
the result of 30 years experience in rallyes and track racers.
La gamma di pastiglie freno OMP 971C è costituita da
un materiale di attrito senza amianto avente le seguenti
caratteristiche:
Composizione: resine termo-indurenti con fibre e speciali
ingredienti carboniosi.
Coefficiente di attrito: valore elevato (0.48).
Stabilità di attrito: costante al variare della temperatura entro
un campo compreso tra 100-800° C (vedi grafico).
Propietà anti-fanding: ottime.
Resistenza meccanica: elevata grazie alle speciali sostanze
presenti nella mescola.
Prestazioni ottimali: nell’uso agonistico (Rally Gr. N).
Pastiglie con mescola 971 C con coefficente di attrito superiore del
30% rispetto alle Road&Sport (tuning). Mescola nata dalle esperienze
maturate nelle competizioni rally e pista.

For racing purposes, we recommend to use OMP
heat-treated brake discs in combination with OMP
971C compound brake pads, which grant a friction
coefficent 30% higher.
