Segurança nas estradas
A CCR promove e apóia campanhas de orientação
e conscientização a respeito de temas ligados à segurança
nas rodovias. Por meio da revista Giro das
Estradas, por exemplo, são veiculadas matérias que
orientam os motoristas sobre o perigo de se estacionar
o veículo no acostamento, como transportar crianças
com segurança ou ainda como dirigir em condições
adversas, com pouca visibilidade ou pista molhada.
Safety on the highways
CCR promotes and supports guidance and
awareness campaigns for subjects related to
highway safety. Through Giro das Estradas
magazine, for example, articles are presented that
guide drivers regarding the dangers of parking on
the shoulder, how to safely carry children, or how
to drive under adverse conditions, such as low
visibility or wet pavement.
Atenção sobre duas rodas
A ViaOeste deu continuidade, em 2007, a uma série
de ações especiais e campanhas educativas com o
objetivo de reduzir acidentes envolvendo motociclistas
no Sistema Castello-Raposo. Os motociclistas
que trafegam pelas vias marginais da Castello Branco
(SP-280) foram abordados pela Polícia Militar Rodoviária
(PMRv), em parceria com a concessionária, e
receberam informações educativas.
Na ocasião, foram distribuídos folhetos e divulgadas
orientações sobre a melhor forma de trafegar
com segurança pelas rodovias, ressaltando-se a
manutenção periódica e preventiva das motos e a
utilização de capacetes, luvas e botas como forma
de amenizar lesões em caso de queda ou colisão.

In 2007, ViaOeste continued a series of special actions
and educational campaigns, for the purpose of reducing
accidents involving motorcyclists on the Castello-Raposo
system. The cyclists who travel on the service roads
of the Castello Branco (SP-280) were approached by
the Military Highway Police (Polícia Militar Rodoviária-
PMRv), in conjunction with the concessionaire
and were given educational information.
At that time, pamphlets were distributed and
guidance was given regarding the best way to safely
travel on the highways, pointing out the need for
periodic preventive maintenance of the motorcycles
and the use of helmets, gloves and boots, as a way
to lessen lesions in the case of a fall or a collision.
