Caravana do Esporte – Coordenado pela ex-jogadora
de vôlei Ana Moser, o programa foi lançado
em 2005, a partir de uma parceria com a Unicef e
a ESPN Brasil, com o objetivo de utilizar o potencial
do esporte como elemento de transformação social.
As ações do programa são definidas segundo
as características de cada município e envolvem a
realização de oficinas de vários esportes para jovens
e educadores. A iniciativa prevê ainda a realização
de palestras especializadas para os educadores e a
exibição de vídeos educativos, oficinas para confecção
de redes, raquetes e bolas, além da doação
de material esportivo às comunidades.
Projeto Grael – Ainda em 2007, o Grupo CCR
iniciou seu apoio ao Instituto Rumo Náutico,
mais conhecido como Projeto Grael, em razão
de ser desenvolvido pelos irmãos (Torben e Axel)
Grael. O principal objetivo é promover a inclusão
social de crianças e adolescentes por meio da
prática de esportes náuticos. O novo convênio
garantirá a abertura de mil vagas para alunos
de escolas públicas das cidades de Niterói, São
Gonçalo, Itaboraí e Maricá, no estado do Rio de
Janeiro, nos cursos de vela e capacitação profissional
de atividades náuticas, oferecidos pelo
projeto em Jurujuba. No total serão investidos
R$ 300 mil até o fim de 2008.

Sports Caravan - Coordinated by former
volleyball star Ana Moser, the program was
launched in 2005, based on a partnership with
UNICEF and ESPN Brasil, for the purpose of
using the potential of sports as an element for
social transformation. The program’s actions
are established according to the characteristics
of each municipality and involve holding
workshops for various sports for young people
and educators. The program also provides
specialized presentations to educators and the
exhibition of educational videos, workshops for
making nets, rackets and balls, and the donation
of sports equipment to the communities.
Project Grael - Also in 2007, the CCR Group
began to support the Rumo Náutico Institute,
better known as Project Grael, since it has been
developed by the brothers Torben and Axel Grael.
The main objective is to promote social inclusion
for children and adolescents through participation
in aquatic sports. The new contract guarantees
the opening of 1,000 places for students from
public schools in the cities of Niterói, São Gonçalo,
Itaboraí, and Maricá, in the State of Rio de Janeiro,
in the sailing classes and professional training for
aquatic activities, which are offered by the project
in Jurujuba. In all, a total of R$ 300,000 will be
invested by the end of 2008.
