RESUMO Neste trabalho descreve-se o projeto, construcao e testes do prototipo de uma Incubadora Neonatal Microprocessada, desenvolvida de acordo corn a Norma NBR IEC 601-2- 19 - Prescricoes particulares para construcao de incubadoras para recem-nascidos (RN). 0 estudo realiza uma analise criteriosa na norma em questa°, bem como os cuidados no projeto de equipamentos para utilizacao em neonatos prematuros. Particularmente, o enfoque do trabalho é a concepcao do circuito eletronico do equipamento, sendo apresentada a arquitetura de hardware utilizada, os metodos para controle termico, deteccao de anormalidades e protecao contra falhas, passando pelas fases de projeto, construcao e testes do sistema.
ABSTRACT In this work it is described the design, construction and tests of the prototype of an Microprocessed Infant Incubator, developed in accordance with NBR-IEC-601-2-19 — Particular prescriptions for the infant incubators construction. This development accomplish an analysis of the point of view in recommended standard, as well as the care with which one should design equipment for premature babies. Particulary, this work emphasis the conception of the electronic circuit used in the equipment, being presented the hardware architecture, the methods used on thermal control, abnormalities detection and failure protection, passing through the design phases, construction and system tests. xiv
