The other duo from CNCascais, Vera Cyrne
and Carolina Leite, finished in 11th place.
Bernardo Gomes and Pedro Gonzalez
(Associação Naval de Lisboa, 16th overall)
claimed victory in the U17 category.
The battle for victory in the SB20 class was
also extremely competitive, with the Hotel
Valverde, skippered by Pedro Mendes Leal,
António Pereira, Ricardo Schedel, and
Maria Tavares from Clube Naval de Cascais,
emerging as the winners. The Bravo,
skippered by António Barros (Clube de Vela
Atlântico) took second place, with Henrique
Brites (CNC), Francisca Martins (CNC),
and João Bolina (Clube de Vela Atlântico)
on board. The AP Hotels, skippered by
Diogo Pereira, accompanied by Luís Dias
Pinheiro, Gonçalo Ramos, and Miguel Leal
de Faria, all from CNCascais, finished in
third place. The Freedom, with Martin
Estlander, Francisco Pinheiro de Melo, and
Gonçalo Castro Nunes on board, secured
fourth place.
Last but not least, in the Finn class, all but
the last-place finisher represented CNCascais.
The victory went to Fernando Bello,
followed by Carlos Azevedo, Jorge Pinheiro
de Melo, Francisco Pinheiro de Melo, and
Miguel Maya.
