Master's thesis aims to describe the playfulness of kindergarten children during the<br />
game and its links to parents' assessments of their child's playfulness. The study is<br />
based on Carolyn Porter´s and Anita C. Bundy´s (2001) methodology, that was<br />
conducted in two parts, the first of which included the observation of the child within<br />
30 minutes of indoor and outdoor play, and the second was to question the parents<br />
about their child's potential and desired behaviors within the game. The study was<br />
carried out in one municipal kindergarten. The sample (n = 8) was was formed of<br />
different age groups (3-4, 4-5, 5-6 and 6-7 years of age), two children in each group.<br />
