(formiranje meščanske družbe);• 20. stol. (prehod z moderne v postmoderno).V okviru posameznega obdobja je pozornost usmerjena nanaslednja vsebinska področja:• razumevanje vzgoje in vzgojnih smotrov v odvisnosti odpolitičnih, socialnih, gospodarskih in kulturnih tendenc terfilozofskih ozadij;• konstituiranje šolskega sistema s poudarkom na opisušolskih form, vsebine pouka ter zakonske regulative;• ideje najbolj uveljavljenih pedagoških klasikov;• razvoj pedagoških idej in šolstva na Slovenskem.Content (Syllabus outline):The content is divided into time spheres which can beinterpreted as relative pedagogical unities and that follow oneanother in a chronologic sequence:• Ancient Times (education in Old Greece and Rome);• Middle Ages (early Middle Ages, Humanism, Renaissance);• Reformation and Anti-Reformation;• 17th and beginning of 18th century;• 18th century as »the pedagogical century« and the Age ofEnlightment;• the 19th century (formation of urban society)• the20th century (transition from the modern into thepostmodern era).Within the frame of an individual era the following content areasare focused on:• the understanding of education and educational objectivesin relation to political, social, economic and culturaltendencies as well as philosophical backgrounds;• the constitution of the school system with emphasis on thedescription of school reforms, the contents of courses aswell as regulations;• the ideas of the most established pedagogical classics;• the development of the pedagogical ideas and schooling in
