Auf der Suche nach Futter schwimmen Walhaie im Golf von Tajoura vor Djibuti nachts nah an die Wasseroberfl<br />
äche. Die größten Fische der Welt ernähren sich hauptsächlich von Plankton. Dieses mit zweieinhalb<br />
Metern relativ kleine Jungtier ist gerade noch im Licht eines starken Scheinwerfers zu erkennen.<br />
Whale sharks in the Gulf of Tajura near Djibouti come close to the surface at night to hunt for food. The<br />
largest fi sh on the planet, they feed principally on plankton. A fl ash would have disturbed the shark so this<br />
2.5m-long youngster was lit with a movie light mounted on the photographer’s boat.<br />
