Der ÖKOPROFIT ® Klub 2009/10
im Rückblick
Der ÖKOPROFIT ® Klub ist ein Nachhaltigkeitsnetzwerk der
ausgezeichneten ÖKOPROFIT ® -Betriebe und bietet eine optimale
Plattform für den aktiven Erfahrungs- und Wissensaustausch
zwischen Unternehmen,
Behörden und
Experten. Im vergangenen
Klubjahr nahmen 46 Unternehmen
am ÖKOPROFIT ® -
Klubprogramm teil. Das
Jahresprogramm des Klubs
beinhaltete folgende Schwerpunktthemen:
Die Stärkung
des Umweltteams, Verbesserungen
bei der Arbeitssicherheit
sowie die Festigung
der Informationsplattform für
Umweltbeauftragte. Die Umsetzung
dieser thematischen
Schwerpunkte erfolgte im
Rahmen von 3 Workshops
und 4 Arbeitsgruppen. Themen
der heurigen Workshops
waren „Be safe – Sei sicher“,
der kontinuierliche Verbesserungsprozess in ÖKOPROFIT ® -
Betrieben sowie (Umwelt)Recht.
Die Arbeitsgruppen 2009/10 ihrerseits befassten sich mit Ökoprofitabler
Beschaffung, umweltnahen Gesetzesbestimmungen,
der Stärkung des ÖKOPROFIT ® -Teams und der Aktualisierung
des Abfallwirtschaftskonzepts. Nachfolgend sollen zwei der Arbeitsthemen
aus dem vergangenen Klubjahr näher vorgestellt
werden.
Arbeitsgruppe „Ein starkes Team für ÖKOPROFIT®“
Eine wichtige Voraussetzung für den Erfolg und die Weiterführung
von ÖKOPROFIT ® ist ein effizientes und starkes Team.
Aktive ÖKOPROFIT ® -Betriebe wissen, dass das nicht nur eine
einmalige sondern eine laufende
Aufgabe ist. Aus diesem
Grund widmete sich die
von Stenum geleitete Arbeitsgruppe
Themen, die für ein
leistungsfähiges Umweltteam
ganz wesentlich sind. So genannte
Softskills, wie Kommunikation,
Motivation und
gruppendynamische Prozesse,
sowie ein Austausch über
die praktischen Erfahrungen
in den teilnehmenden Betrieben
waren die Basis für die
Erarbeitung von passenden
Strategien zur Stärkung der
Teams. Die präsentierten und
geplanten Maßnahmen, wie
beispielsweise interne Trainings
und Kommunikationskampagnen, Newsletter und Datenbanken,
stellen den Menschen in den Mittelpunkt aller Aktivitäten.
Schnell wird dabei klar, wie wichtig gemeinsames und effektives

The ECOPROFIT ® Club is a sustainability network formed by
the ECOPROFIT ® Companies and offers an optimal platform
for active exchange of experience and knowledge between
companies, public authorities
and experts. In the past
Club Year, 46 companies
took part in the ECOPROF-
IT ® Club Programme. This
year’s programme of the
Club covered the following
focal topics: strengthening
the environmental team, improvements
at OH&S (occupational
health and safety)
as well as consolidating
the information platform for
Environmental Representatives.
These focal topics
were implemented in the
course of 3 workshops and
4 workgroups. The topics of
this year’s workshops were
“Be safe”, the continual improvement
process in ECOPROFIT ® Companies as well as
(environmental) law.
The workgroups 2009/10, for their part, dealt with eco-profitable
purchasing, legal provisions focusing on environmental
issues, strengthening the ECOPROFIT ® Team and updating
the waste management concept. Following, we would like to
present two of the work topics from the past Club Year in more
detail.
Workgroup “A Strong Team for ECOPROFIT ® ”
An important prerequisite for enabling success and continuation
of ECOPROFIT ® is an efficient and strong team. Active
ECOPROFIT ® Companies know that this is not only a nonrecurring
task but an ongoing
task. Therefore, the
workgroup led by Stenum
was devoted to topics that
are extremely important
for a powerful and efficient
environmental team. Socalled
soft skills, such as
communication, motivation
and group processes,
as well as exchange about
practical experience in the
companies participating
formed the basis for elaborating
strategies suitable
for strengthening the team.
The presented and planned
measures, such as internal
trainings and communication
campaignes, newsletters and databases, place the individual
in the centre of all activities. Quite soon it becomes
quite obvious how important joint and effective commitment
