within the team is to transport the ECOPROFIT ® idea to the
future. Once the teams participating have been provided with
the right plan and the right tools, they can definitely perfectly
handle ECOPROFIT ® !
Workgroup “Eco-Profitable Purchasing”
The participants of the workgroup “Eco-Profitable Purchasing”,
who came from 15 ECOPROFIT ® Companies, have decided
to analyze and process opportunities for improvement
relating to ecology and sustainability in the field of cleaning.
A question that was interesting in this context referred to the
extent to which companies that outsource cleaning and are
subject to the Federal Act for Placing Orders need not submit
to the principle of the cheapest bidders but can already consider
ecological and social criteria when asking for bids. The
three workshops were technically facilitated and moderated
by Dr. Karin Dullnig & Ing. Daniela List (ecoversum).
Now the results of the workgroup are available as a suggestion
for an ECOPROFIT ® Purchasing Guideline for Purchasing
Cleaning Agents and Placing Orders for Cleaning
Services. In the next year, the following requirements should
be taken over to the environmental report:
• general principles of cleaning;
• criteria for substances contained and packaging;
• ecological and social criteria for the personnel and organization;
• ecological criteria for the type and quality of cleaning

in the form of common workshops and workgroups but also are
interested to extend
exchange on
informal and personal
levels even
more.
Therefore, it has
already become
a tradition also
to have a common
ECOPROFIT
Christmas Party. It
is also with great
pleasure that companies
of Graz are
given the opportunity of better getting to know the varied offer of
the City of Graz. This year the common celebration was shifted
to the Stadtmuseum (City Museum) of Graz in the Sackstraße.
There the history of the City of Graz was presented during a
guided tour. A cosy get-together afterwards was used to exchange
a lot of information and consolidate friendships.
Still another activity going beyond mere training and informing
was a common ride to Güssing. This ride served to enable the
participants to get to know the particularly remarkable activities
the City of Güssing takes in the field of energy supply from alternative
energy sources. In the course of a guided tour organized
by the European Energy Innovation Centre, the delegation
form Graz was, among other things, shown the Biomass Power
Plant Güssing and the Biogas Facility Strem. And a common
visit to an open-air tavern in Burgenland was extensively used
for networking.
Engagement im Team ist, um den ÖKOPROFIT ® -Gedanken in
die Zukunft zu tragen. Gerüstet mit dem richtigen Plan und den
richtigen Werkzeugen ist ÖKOPROFIT ® bei den teilnehmenden
Teams in besten Händen!
Arbeitsgruppe „Ökoprofitable Beschaffung“
Die TeilnehmerInnen aus 15 ÖKOPROFIT ® -Betrieben der Arbeitsgruppe
„Ökoprofitable Beschaffung“ beschlossen, Verbesserungspotenziale
im Bereich Reinigung in Richtung Ökologie
und Nachhaltigkeit zu analysieren und aufzubereiten. Interessant
dabei war die Frage, inwieweit Betriebe, die die Reinigung fremd
vergeben und dem Bundesvergabegesetz unterliegen, sich nicht
nur dem Billigstbieterprinzip beugen müssen, sondern bereits in
der Ausschreibung ökologische und soziale Kriterien berücksichtigen
können. Die drei Workshops wurden von Dr. Karin Dullnig &
Ing. Daniela List (ecoversum) fachlich begleitet und moderiert.
Die Ergebnisse der Arbeitsgruppe liegen nun als Vorschlag für
eine ÖKOPROFIT ® -Beschaffungsrichtlinie für den Einkauf
von Reinigungsmitteln und für die Beauftragung von Reinigungsdienstleistung
vor. Im nächsten Jahr sollen daraus folgende
Anforderungen in den Umweltbericht übernommen werden:
• Allgemeine Grundsätze für die Reinigung
• Kriterien für Inhaltstoffe und Verpackung
• Ökologische und soziale Kriterien für Personal und Organisation
• Ökologische Kriterien für Art und Qualität der Reinigung
Das Netzwerk der ÖKOPROFIT ® -Klubbetriebe ist aktiv
Neben dem fachlichen Angebot in Form von gemeinsamen Workshops
und Arbeitsgruppen, die sehr gut angenommen werden, besteht
von allen PartnerInnen das Interesse, auch den Austausch
auf informeller und
persönlicher Ebene
weiter auszubauen.
Deshalb ist es schon
Tradition, auch
eine gemeinsame
ÖKOPROFIT ® -
Weihnachtsfeier
abzuhalten. Gerne
wird dabei auch
organisiert, dass
Grazer Unternehmen
das vielfältige
Angebot der Stadt
Graz besser kennenlernen. In diesem Jahr wurde daher das gemeinsame
Feiern in das Grazer Stadtmuseum in der Sackstraße
verlegt, wo im Rahmen einer Führung die Geschichte der Stadt
Graz präsentiert wurde. Bei einem gemütlichen Ausklang wurden
dann viele Informationen ausgetauscht und auch Freundschaften
vertieft.
Ebenfalls eine gemeinsame Aktion, die über das reine Schulen
und Informieren hinausgeht, war eine gemeinsame Fahrt nach
Güssing, um die besonderes bemerkenswerten Aktivitäten der
Stadt Güssing zur Energieversorgung aus alternativen Energiequellen
kennenzulernen. Vorgestellt wurde der Grazer Delegation
im Rahmen einer Führung des Europäischen Energieinnovationszentrums
u.a. das Biomassekraftwerk Güssing und der
Biogasanlage Strem. Und ein gemeinsamer Besuch bei einem
Buschenschank in Burgenland wurde ausgiebig zum Netzwerken
genutzt.
