Maximilian Löhr: We work with the raw material wood.
So it’s our obligation to use this raw material responsibly. We
are for instance PEFC-certified for the support of sustainable
forestry.
At the end of 2015, we also started to deal with energy
management and thanks to the implemented energy monitoring
system, we are also ISO 50 001 certified.
The monitoring process allows us to determine energy
peaks and thus to work out measures to save energy. In
this way, we counteract energy waste in all areas.
LB Plus: Keeping in mind the above-mentioned mentality,
we’ll surely hear a lot about the development of LEBO in
future. Do you already have concrete plans about what the
customers can expect in the near or distant future?
Maximilian Löhr: We would like to position ourselves towards
Batch Size 1. We want a tailor-made production – for
all customers whatever they order. Another challenge we will
take up is to increase the export rate.
In near future, our customers will already benefit from
the optimization of our product range. We have the aim
to create a well-structured product portfolio, which is why
we’ll make it clearer for our customers. A lot will be done
in the next time, as we will sharpen the entire market presence
in 2016.
LEBO will be much influenced by digitalization and Industry
4.0. We have already made new investments in the area
of robotics and will implement the new solutions together
with Lanfer Automation. It’s worth staying curious. I’m sure
much will happen and it’s especially our customers that will
benefit from it.
