17th Apprenticeship
Fair of Volksbank
Bocholt
The companies WM GROUP, Lanfer Systemhaus and LEBO
all presented the apprenticeships they offer at the 2015
Apprenticeship Fair. In personal conversations, the visitors
could ask both trainers and apprentices about anything
they wanted to know to form an opinion.
“We are always looking for young, motivated and enthusiastic
junior employees who decide to do their apprenticeship
in our company. That is also why we have already planned
to also participate in the 2016 Apprenticeship Fair,”
human resources manager Melanie Wolbring says.
“ The information of the
entire transport chain
„
is combined and made visible.
Where and how is digitalization used in logistics?
The representatives of the logistics sector
now received an answer to that question
in the Open Innovation Center. That afternoon,
the organizers of NRW-Logistikcluster/LOG-IT Club
e.v. Wirtschaftsförderung Bocholt and IHK North Westphalia
offered plenty of opportunities for exchange as well as four
lectures and one panel discussion.
Digital Networking
and Apps as a Trend
Christian Krüger from catkin GmbH provided an insight
into transport logistics and a clever use of digital networking.
“The information of the entire transport chain is combined
and made visible. This works well for all types of orders bet-
ween companies and even mobile employees are simply
integrated into the process via apps. You can access those
apps from all over the world,” says Krüger. According to him,
this new way of working provides transparency and significantly
reduces the use of paper.
“Apps undoubtedly belong to the mega trends in the logistics
sector,” it is stated in the report of the event and this is
where Logata Digital Solution GmbH became involved. Dirk
Meyer presented the “Business AppStore for Logistics” and
the resulting possibilities to comfortably integrate apps.
According to Meyer, customizable apps that network and
exchange information represent the perfect solution for
warehouse logistics. “The result is an individual, consistent
process.
