HIV-PROTECTION WITH ONE TABLET.<br />
ONCE PER DAY.<br />
DISCOVER is a new clinical study for men and transgender<br />
women, who have sex with men (MSM). The<br />
purpose of the study is to find out if a new once-a-day<br />
medication, which is already approved for HIV treatment,<br />
has a similar protective effect against the transmission<br />
of HIV compared with approved Truvada ® .<br />
This is called PrEP or Pre exposition prophylaxis. You<br />
must be at least 18 years of age and HIV negative to<br />
take part in the study. If you are enrolled into the study,<br />
you will receive study related examinations, laboratory<br />
tests and the study medication at no cost for as long as<br />
you participate in the study (up to 3 years).<br />
