Why decide for a Cambridge Certificate?
Benefits for the exam takers: The certificate…
• is recognised worldwide
• improves the students‘ career prospects
• is a valuable preparation for further education
and life: Students are prepared for travels abroad
and, as a very vital aspect when being a
student, it’s a perfect preparation for school
exams and the finals (Matura).
FCE participants 2017
This year around 20 students of the 3rd classes,
mainly from the International branch, took part in
the FCE preparation course from October until June.
Special thanks
A special thanks goes to Penny Robertson
from WIFI Dornbirn who annually comes
to our school to do speaking mock
exams with our FCE and BEC students.
The job she does is fantastic: motivating
our students, giving them useful tips on
how to improve their intonation, pronunciation
and interaction while being
tested and explaining the vitality of
Cambridge exams to the students.

two years!
Exams and results
Written exams (consisting of Reading, Use of English,
Writing and Listening) took place on June 6th
from 8:30 to 12:45. For the oral exams (Speaking)
each student had the possibility to choose
a conversation partner with whom speaking skills
had to be proved in a 14-minutes-exam on June
7th.Results will be expected in the summer holidays.
