it is always recorded last, irrespective <strong>of</strong> the number <strong>of</strong> normal cells detected.<br />

Examples are as follows:<br />

mos 45,X[4]/46,XX[16]<br />

This is a Turner mosaic with two cell lines. Analysis <strong>of</strong> 20 cells showed that this individual has 4<br />

cells that are 45,X and 16 cells that are 46,XX.<br />

mos 45,X[5]/47,XYY[5]/46,XY[10]<br />

This represents a mosaic with three cell lines.<br />

mos 47,XX,+13[15]/46,XX[5]
