Actus s. In the fifth act the young King was acquainted with<br />

all that had passed between the Moore and his future<br />

spouse, who interceded with his father for her, intreating<br />

that she might not be left in that condition, and embas-<br />

sadors were dispatched to comfort her, but withal to give<br />

her notice of her inconsiderateness. She, nevertheless,<br />

would not receive them, but consented to be the Moore's<br />

concubine, and the young King was acquainted with it.<br />

her to his steward and chaplain, the first whereof tormented<br />

her mightily, while the priest was so insolently wicked<br />

that he would needs be above all, till the same was<br />

reported to the young King, who dispatched<br />
