was that they were not hard, but limber and fleshy as other<br />

human bodies ; yet had they no life, so that I assuredly<br />

believe that Lady Venus' image was made after some such<br />

way. These angelically fair babes we laid upon two little<br />

sattin cushonets, and beheld them till we were ^almost<br />

besotted upon so exquisite an object.<br />
