whether he might perchance be helped through my wish, I<br />

other way, but he replyed no, because there was special<br />

consideration in the business, but for this night we might<br />

gratifie his desire, so he sent one forth to fetch him in.<br />

Mean time the tables were prepared in a spatious room, in<br />

which we had never before been, which was so compleat<br />

that it is not possible for me to describe it. Into this we<br />

were conducted with singular ceremony. Cupid was not<br />
