The term structure of the financial liabilities held by the Group is shown in the following table. This
data is based on the non-discounted contractual payments. The payment flows from derivative
financial instruments are included under non-current loans and borrowings.

Interest-bearing loans and borrowings of € 907.8 million (2010: € 1,421.5 million) have a term of
more than five years, and include € 374.8 million (2010: € 659.9 million) with a remaining term of
more than ten years.
8.10.3. DERIVATIVE FINANCIAL INSTRUMENTS AND HEDGES
The conwert Group uses a variety of derivative financial instruments to manage interest rate risk.
These instruments include interest rate swaps and interest rate caps. The fair value of the hedges
is based on market valuation as of the balance sheet date.
