Footpaths
Based on the PMS data. Over 25% of the footpath network meeds some form of reconstruction to
improve pedestrian safety. Using a design life of approximately 20 years, funding of 5% of the asset
value is needed each year to maintain the condition of our footpath assets.
Drainage
Using the information collected as part of Waverley’s AAS 27 evaluation, we have over 70km of
drainage assets of which only 50% are in a good condition. Based on a conservative estimate, 1.5%
of the asset value is needed each year to maintain these assets.
