The 2004 accounts and their comparison with previous years are presented<br />
in accordance with French accounting standards, as in previous years.<br />
In 2005, the mandatory changeover to International Financial Reporting<br />
Standards will impact the Group’s accounts in different ways.<br />
In addition, <strong>Michelin</strong> is adopting a new presentation for its sector-based<br />
information from January 1, 2005 so as to better reflect its industrial<br />
and commercial organization.<br />
These changes are explained in the bookmark included<br />
in the 2004 Corporate Report and are set out in detail on<br />
