<strong>Wolinsky</strong>: <strong>Not</strong>ice the emptiness within the solidness within<br />

the feet and everything else. How are you doing?<br />

Student: _______(Long silence)_______It’s gone.<br />

<strong>Wolinsky</strong>: This I am concept, which believes in the concept<br />

of earth is mother, mother, earth, feminine, not<br />

masculine, being the center of everything, nurturing,<br />

solid, important, take care of, etc.—if they<br />

had nothing to do with anything, then . . . ?<br />

Student: _______(Long silence).<br />

THE knOWER AnD THE “AWARER”<br />

In order for an identity of “I” to be there, there must be<br />

a knower of the I-dentity. The knower of the I-dentity is part<br />

of the I-dentity.<br />

The knower of any I-dentity contains only that knowledge<br />

which is contained within the I-dentity.<br />

To go beyond the knower, try to find the knower, or look<br />

for the knower, and you apperceive that there is none.<br />

Or try to “see” the knower and the I-dentity as being<br />

made of THE SAME SUBSTANCE. Then there is blank and<br />

then “soon,” only the pure NOTHINGNESS or the vastness<br />

remains.<br />

THE “AWARER”<br />

The same is true of an “awarer.” An “awarer” subtly implies<br />

a “place” or origin of awareness; a location in space-time. The
