The motifs displayed in these headbands (winchas)
are absolutely typical; both geometric and animal
forms. The twirled positive-negative hook or wave
motif is used in many different arrangements, sometimes
in cascading bands similar to the Greek wave design.
Multicolored panels at one end are formed by wrapping
bundles of warp extensions.
