Scotomanes ornatus, Hin Namno NBCA,
February 1998. A medium-sized and very
colourful species of forest glades and streams.

NBCA, January 1998. A poorly known insectivorous
bat unusual in the thick hairs all over
the tail membrane and tubular nostrils. Two
species of the genus occur in Lao PDR; they
are difficult to distinguish.

NBCA, January 1998. The large feet of this
species are used to scoop large insects and
