5. Attach the key (or keys) to be programmed to the USB port(s)/hub.
You can attach as many keys as possible over the USB ports on your
system.
6. Specify the Cheat Counter value. It will be global for the Sentinel
Key (applicable only to non-RTC Sentinel Keys).
7. Click Make Keys. Please do not attach/detach keys from the port/
hub while the process is in progress.
Programming Distributor Keys

If desired, you can allow your sales distributors to program Sentinel Keys for
your customers. You need to provide them with the following items:
Sentinel License Manager application (stand-alone)
Group file (.lgx) containing the licenses (templates) that you want to
allow them to program.
Corresponding to every group is a distributor key that contains a
metering count (optional) to track how many licenses they
programmed.
Note: The group file (.lgx) and distributor key form a unique pair. Hence, a distributor
key will not work for any other group file generated with some
other distributor key.
To program a distributor key and create its associated group file:
1. Load the group from the Group Management dialog box.
2. In the group layout, select the required licenses (templates) using the
check boxes. You can provide a group file containing multiple licenses
(and one instance of each feature).
When you are programming hardware key for your distributors, it is
up to you to decide which license templates and features you want to
include in it (you will note that check boxes are provided against the
templates and features in the group layout). However, only one
