Can Secure Update be used to update the key for adding a new license?
Solution:
Yes, Sentinel Hardware Keys Secure Update allows you to activate and add
user licenses to the key. Refer to, “Secure Remote New License Addition” on
page 145.
Problem: Protecting .EXE, .DLL, and .BPL files using a
Command Line Interface
You want to use a command line interface for protecting .exe, .dll, and .bpl
files.
Solution:
Use the Command-Line CodeCover Utility (CMDShell.exe) in the SDK that
provides 32/64-bit CodeCover support, to protect your .exe, .dll, and .bpl
files. Refer to, “CodeCover Protection Using the Command-Line Utility” on
page 91.
Problem: Backing up the Templates, Features, and
Groups
You want to back up the templates, features, and groups generated in the
toolkit.
Solution:
By default, there are two directories to backup the templates, features, and
groups generated in the toolkit.
Programs are stored in the directory, \Sentinel Keys
Toolkit.
The license group files are stored at: \My
Documents\Sentinel Keys \My License Groups.
Note - The license group files are stored at: \Documents\Sentinel Keys\My License Groups on
Windows Vista.
