Configuration Files
Sentinel Keys SDK provides you the following configuration files:
Client-side Configuration File (sntlconfig.xml)
Using this file, the protected application users can set these
parameters: the network protocol, Sentinel Keys Server host,
heartbeat interval for maintaining license time, and Sentinel Keys
Server socket port. See the section “About Client-side Configuration
File” on page 66 for details.

Server-side Configuration File (sntlconfigsrvr.xml)
Using this file, the system administrator (root user) on the customer
site can set the start-up parameters for Sentinel Keys Server. These
parameters include: the network protocol for client-server
communication, Sentinel Keys License Monitor HTTP port, Sentinel
Keys Server socket port, logging details, and allowed users of Sentinel
Keys License Monitor. The information stored in this file can be
updated by a remote network user using Sentinel keys License
Monitor. The server-side configuration file is located at the following
path:
Remote Update Options
On Windows: :\Program Files\Common Files\SafeNet
Sentinel\Sentinel Keys Server\sntlconfigsrvr.xml.
On Linux: /opt/safenet_sentinel/common_files/sentinel_keys_server/
Sntlconfigsrvr.xml.
On Macintosh: /Applications/Safenet Sentinel/Common Files/Sentinel
Keys Server/Sntlconfigsrvr.xml.
You can provide the following options to your customers for updating hardware
keys in the field:
Secure Update Utility
Secure Update Wizard (for Windows only)
