Where to Deploy
By default, this file exists in the same directory where your protected application
is installed. However, it may exists at a different location (with a
different name) if you have customized its name and path.
How to Deploy
You can include it in your application’s installation program. It is available
at the following path:
For Windows: \Configuration File Template.
For Linux: /Configuration_File_Template.
For Macintosh: /Configuration File Template.

Note: The Sentinel Keys Server configuration file is deployed along with the Sentinel
Keys Server in its installation directory. You need not ship it separately.
However, you may provide instructions to your customers on how to
set parameters in the configuration files.
Deploying Secure Update Utility
When to Deploy
You need to deploy the Secure Update utility when you are providing activations
in the field. It provides an alternative to Secure Update Wizard (for
Windows only) and Secure Update API.
This utility can be used for updating Sentinel Keys and distributor keys
remotely.
