Sentinel Keys Server
Sentinel Keys Server is the network license manager of the Sentinel Keys. It
maintains a database of the Sentinel Keys attached to a networked system
and handles the availability, maintenance, sharing, and cancellation of
licenses for its clients.
Secure Update Wizard
The Secure Update Wizard provides a graphical option to your Windowsbased
customers for activating features/applications in the field. It is suitable
for activating trial/demo applications.
Serial Number

A 32-bit value sequentially assigned per key. It is pre-programmed and cannot
be modified.
Silent Mode
The silent mode denoted by /S in Command-Line CodeCover protection, suppresses
the display of information related to CodeCover features present in
the license template file. For example, source file, destination path, protection
layer level, etc.
Software Key
The scrambled public key used for creating the Secure Communication Tunnel.
It is passed as a parameter in the SFNTGetLicense API function and is
written into the header file.
Software Lock
A decision point in a protected application. The purpose of a software lock is
to verify the presence of the correct Sentinel Key. For example, an application
might verify the validity of the signed data or send query data to the
Sentinel Key and require a specific response in order to continue execution.
