Note: After the password is successfully set, the Enable Password option is disabled.
The option becomes available again only if you disable the authentication.
Now, the Toolkit will prompt you to enter the password as soon as you plugin
the developer key. Only after specifying the correct password, you can
access the complete functions of Toolkit. However, if you choose to skip the
password, you are not allowed to perform key-dependent functions (refer
Question 11). On skipping the password, Toolkit does not prompt for password
for that particular Toolkit session.
Question 8: Can I enable my developer’s key password again once I
have disabled it?
Yes. The steps to enable the password are similar to the steps of setting a
password, as explained in Question 7 above.
Question 9: How to change the password of my developer key?
1. Open the Sentinel Keys Toolkit, and click Options -> Configure
Password -> Disable/Change Password.
2. Select the Change Password check box.
3. Enter your old password in the Password field.
4. Enter the new password in the New Password and Confirm Password
fields. The password can contain 8 to 16 alphanumeric characters.
